The Guest Experience: Step-by-Step

1) Pre-Production (15 min)

Set the angle. In a short call with Ryan, we’ll align on the story you want to tell, confirm the recording date/time,
and cover the basic audio/video logistics.

Best practice: Schedule this at least two days before the recording.

2) Recording (1 hour)

This is the main event—engaging and conversational (not a flat Q&A). Ryan will guide the discussion and draw out stories
that highlight your journey, technical wins, and lessons learned.

3) Preview & Approval

Within 2–6 business days, you’ll receive an edited preview of the episode.
You’ll have 48 hours to review and request any final tweaks before we publish and distribute.

4) Promotion

Once live, we’ll share the episode via social posts, blog features, and clips.
We’ll coordinate with your team so you can amplify the episode and engage your audience.

Podcast Tech & Setup—What to Know

Hardware & environment tips:

  • Microphone: USB mic or headset mic is preferred—better than your laptop’s built-in mic.
  • Camera: Position at eye level.
  • Lighting: Face a window or use a lamp/LED light. Avoid bright light behind you.
  • Video quality options: Zoom-style audio is the baseline; HD webcam and good lighting elevate production.

Use these tips in this video to make your recording session look and sound great.
