Soracom achieved the highest Capability rating among IoT MVNOs evaluated, reflecting the depth of a platform that spans SIM-level connectivity management through AI-driven workflow automation and natural-language data analytics.

Counterpoint’s evaluation benchmarks vendors on eight platform capability dimensions, including provisioning and orchestration, security, analytics and reporting, AI adoption, and ease of use, alongside execution factors such as geographic presence, partnerships, financial strength, and customer base growth.

Soracom has been an early mover in iSIM-based use cases and opened pre-orders for SGP.32-compatible IoT eSIM orchestration in March 2026, preparing the platform for the GSMA’s next-generation eSIM provisioning standard.

Soracom Flux Video Analysis makes it possible to share video data from connected devices through the Soracom cloud for analysis by AI models like Amazon Bedrock and Google Gemini. This enhancement unlocks new possibilities for advanced IoT applications, such as using motion detection as a trigger to analyze video for compliance with work or security procedures.
